ABOUT COMFORT ZONE TRAINING
Hello friends, welcome to your new fitness journey!
You have taken a healthy first step to learn some new exercise techniques or programs, start a whole new exercise regimen, or find a new, alternative way to maintain your healthy lifestyle; whichever it is, I am here to guide you through your new journey.
Since playing sports in high school, I have always been physically active, a true “gym rat,” and fitness endeavors have always been a passion.
In 2010, after growing weary of highly stressful professional positions, I decided to pursue, my passion and become a National Academy of Sports Medicine ( www.nasm.org) professional certified personal trainer.
My NASM training has equipped me to thoroughly assess each new client and utilize a fully integrated approach to exercise, by initially evaluating a client’s flexibility, muscular and cardio endurance, core strength and stabilization, balance, as well as an individual’s overall muscular strength and power.
I specialize in several areas, I have worked with some amazing trainers over the years and have studied various techniques and programs of many masters, absorbing it all to help my own clients. Each new client is given a complimentary movement assessment and evaluation followed by a thorough discussion of your goals and then together, we will create an ideal program aimed at producing results.
It’s a fun journey, we will work together, laugh together, continually assess and monitor your progress and most importantly, have some fun while you achieve your goals!
Let’s get started!

Anne is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer who designs programs for clients that include a high level of personal attention and motivation aimed at producing results. And results are just what she has achieved for her clients who speak for themselves….
I am someone who’s always been intimidated by gyms and has never before enjoyed exercise. It’s the first time I have ever had a personal trainer, and she has been amazing, changed my life – no exaggeration.”

Not only has Anne helped me transform my body, but she has also truly transformed my confidence. I am stronger, happier and am so proud of all I have accomplished with Anne.

My primary physician recommended a strength training program after an annual check-up and thankfully, I followed his sage advice.” Before training with Anne, 72-year-old Alexy was unable to lift a 2-pound dumbbell; after completing a training program, she was later able to help her husband after a home accident by dragging him “all 200 pounds of him, over 200 feet to safety.

I not only could fit into my skirt, I had to pin it because it was too big!” Meredith gained 65 pounds while having twins and for 2 years she tried “everything” to lose her post pregnancy weight. She “could not imagine ever running,” yet she later ran in a Disney Half-Marathon.

You have questions. wE have answers.
It’s named after the beauty of the company – you can train in the comfort of your own home! Think about it, training in this way has many advantages, most obviously the convenience. Statistically, people select a health club that is located near their home or workplace. Well, we have you covered, just put the coffee on, I’ll arrive, we’ll warm-up and get started!
No worries about fighting traffic to get to your health club or getting back in time to start your workday, you don’t have to worry about what you are going to wear, struggling through a class, waiting for a treadmill, being confused about what to do, there are just so many advantages.
Every step of the way, I will be there to motivate and guide you!
And don’t worry, if for some reason, training at home is not convenient, Zoom and FaceTime options are available as well!
Glad you asked, it’s an important question and yes, we specialize in creating programs that will focus on several critical areas including:
flexibility and mobility, core, balance, functional, strength, seniors and injury rehabilitation
We’ve got all the “toys” as I would say meaning tools of the trade, including kettlebells, TRX, BOSU, medicine balls, dumbbells, resistance bands, battle ropes, jump ropes and mats, all of which can be used in a room in your home, on your deck, outside in your yard or a nearby park.
Relax, I get this question a lot and don’t worry, we work with all levels of clients, whether you have been sitting at your desk or on your couch for a long time and want to just “walk,” at first, of course, we will take baby steps. Our approach will all be explained during the first complimentary assessment.
Stay tuned, various options are underway which will be introduced in 2025. In the interim, I can introduce you to some individuals who will be an extraordinary resource for you. I am a huge proponent of Intermittent Fasting and have helped clients achieve great success with this practice which supplemented their exercise plan. I would be happy to introduce you to many IF resources, including articles, books, podcasts and Facebook Groups, all of which provide enormous support.
